My goals for college are pretty straightforward: I want to earn a degree and be able to continue playing baseball, the game I love. If there is an opportunity for baseball to help me pay for college, that's a plus.
A little about me: I'm a 4.0 student and am looking for schools that have high academic requirements as well as a competitive baseball program.
Defensively, I have excellent straight line and lateral speed combined with a great glove that enable me to utilize my range to make outs in a wide range of situations. I have a high baseball IQ as a result of working with my High School coach, Tim Goins (Ryan Goins’ uncle), who played college and professional baseball. Offensively, I have a high OBP due to my speed along with a flat bat path from the left side that allows me to hit to all areas of the field. I have also worked on ‘winning the 90 ft war” by taking extra bases and using my speed to challenge the defense. I have been a lead off hitter most of my life as a result of my ability to put the ball in play, get on, and steal bases. When needed, I can generate offense by turning a SAC bunt into a single or ROE and help score runs.
In a nutshell, I will help any team win by making plays defensively and generating offense in a variety of ways. I’m a competitor that will do my best to win at everything I do; on the field, in the classroom, and by being a good person that helps others.
