Trent Rogers '23 Recruiting Profile

At the age of 10, I decided to dedicate myself to becoming a college baseball player when I attended a college baseball camp. Ever since then, I have worked to eat healthy, train religiously, and work tirelessly to achieve my dream of earning a spot behind the plate on a college field.

I consider myself a selfless teammate and catcher. I believe my team role is to work hard to make the pitcher on the mound look good. Instead of drawing attention to myself, I work relentlessly behind the plate to frame pitches for strikes, set up in positions to make pitches look good, block wild pitches, prevent runners from advancing, and develop respectful relationships with umpires. 

Baseball has taught me how to overcome challenges, work towards goals, and develop mental toughness. I transfer these same characteristics into the classroom and am ranked in the top ten percent of my class. I will bring this same work ethic and selflessness to your team.
