Ben Fowers '18 Recruiting Profile

Ben will be returning from a 2-year church service mission to the inner cities of Camden, NJ and Philadelphia, Scranton and Bethlehem, PA in July 2017 and enrolling in school Fall 2017.  He was selected to the State 4A All-Star baseball team his senior year as a RHP/3B and was also selected as Academic All-State for baseball.  He pitched/played 3rd Base for the Salt Lake Gull Travel/Club team.  His personal statement:

I've dreamed of playing college baseball since I was a little kid and want to accomplish my goal.  I'm a very hard worker and will do what it takes to be successful.  I love to compete.  There is nothing I like doing more than entering the diamond trying to win.  Playing this game is like no other game in the world.  There is nothing like helping your team out because everything you do has an impact on the guy next to you.  It is fun to play this game, and being ready for your chance to help your team succeed.  This is why I love baseball and this is why I want to play as long as possible.
