Summer - 2010
Spring - 2009My name is Hunter Balmer and I am a 2010 graduate from Box Elder High School in Brigham City, Utah. I just finished my sophomore year at Dawson Community College in Glendive, MT, which is in a wood bat conference. I was a team captain my freshman and sophomore year and I was named to the 2012 and 2011 Mon~Dak All-Conference Team. I was selected by opposing coaches as the 2012 Mon~Dak Conference Player of the Year. I was named to the All-Region 9 team and All-American 2nd Team. I am currently ranked 14th for hitting in NJCAA. I was on the Dean's List and earned a spot on the Mon~Dak Academic Team both years with a cumulative GPA of 3.63. I was also elected to freshman senate in ASB student government. In high school I was an honor roll student graduating with a 3.42 gpa. I had an amazing experience senior year. I was awarded my team's MVP, RBI Leader, and Hitting Title. I was also named All-Region, All-Area, and All-State. I was selected to represent the 4A North in the Senior All-Stars where I was named MVP. I wanted to start college at the JUCO level so I could play right away, get bigger, stronger, and get ready to play in a four year program. I want to attend a college where I can get a great education and contribute on the field. I am excited to find the right school, coach and program where I can make my goals a reality.
