My name is Riley Davis. I am currently 16 years of age and a junior in high school. My goal is to become an orthodontist and reside in the state of Utah. I am a very hardworking individual. I started playing baseball when I was four years old. I joined a travel ball team when I was 6 years of age and went on to win 5 State Championships for Carbon Cal Ripkin Baseball association. Our all-star team was able to travel and play in The Cal Ripkin Pacific Southwest Regional Ball Tournament I work hard at everything I do and realize working as a team is the best way to persevere. I would like to go to college anywhere I can get either an academic scholarship or baseball scholarship. I realize the cost of higher education can be very challenging. My parents started a Utah Educational Savings Plan when I was born to help with the burden of tuition. My Moms family are all Aggies (Utah State University) with exception of my Uncle who attended Southern Utah University. I am very coachable and I like constructive criticism. I feel it helps and pushes me towards a goal. I always try to give 110% on the field and off the field. I have been commended for taking players under my wing and helping them learn and pushing them towards their personal goals. In the off season I hit the gym daily, and when I am not working in the gym or at the fields I enjoy pouring concrete or working with my father as an apprentice electrician. I do not let an off day get in my head when I am on the field. I work hard and try to turn the game around and push my teammates to do the same.
