Matthew Carroll '26 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing baseball for as long as I can remember, and throughout my life, the game has shaped me into a dedicated and hardworking individual. My passion for baseball is matched by my commitment to academics, where I maintain a GPA of 3.92 unweighted and have taken as many AP and college credited coursed I can.  I have learned how to effectively balance my studies with my athletic pursuits as I continue to push myself in school, baseball, and in the weight room.. I understand the importance of discipline and time management, and I carry that mindset in every aspect of my life.

On the field, I’m constantly pushing myself to improve, whether it’s in the batter’s box, on the mound, or in the field.  My ultimate goal is to make to the highest level of baseball possible and know that I have done the best that I could. I thrive in competitive environments and love the challenge of growing as a player. I played half of the year on varsity as a freshman, and in my sophomore season I was blessed to be named to the all conference team. I have had great summer seasons, playing elite competition for my team Cascade Crush ( now known as Cascade Baseball Club).  Above all, I take pride in being a supportive and reliable teammate. I  know that the best teams are built on trust and collaboration, and I strive to contribute to that team dynamic every day.
