Jared Hartwig '17 Recruiting Profile

    Hi my name is Jared Hartwig and I'm a utility player, playing on the varsity team at Tri-Cities Prep as a junior. I currently play outfield, pitcher and can play middle infield. Of these, I excel mainly as a pitcher, with an average fastball speed of 82 miles per hour. I believe I would be a good candidate for a college team because I'm a hard worker, constantly aspire to do the very best that I can, and always perform to the best of my abilities.

    Not only have I competed at a high level for baseball, but I excel just as well in the class room. I have been in honors classes since I was in the 3rd grade, and have continued to push myself in AP and advanced courses. Aside from wanting to play college baseball, my collegiate goals are to go to a 4 year university and study digital design or computer/technological sciences. I have always been a creative thinker, and I think that studying these topics would be extremely interesting. With my grades and skill in the sport of baseball, I know I would not disappoint at the college level.
