Matthew Hendry '16 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals are to be a competitive athlete while succeeding in the classroom. I dedicate myself to anything that I put my mind to. I treat my academics like a career and I treat baseball with the same attitude. Since my Sophomore year playing varsity baseball and playing 18u summer baseball as a 16yr old has been a humbling experience for me. I have been able to compete at every level of baseball I have competed in. I have always been able to balance my Honors and AP classes while being a multi-sport athlete and maintain a 3.4 GPA. 

Ever since I touched a baseball I have been absolutely in love, it was my first love, and I work my hardest in order to play as long as I can. I feel that I can bring a good leadership quality to team in practice and game time situation and I feel that I lead the team while getting along with everyone.
