Personal Statement

I am a strong and fast Outfielder with 98 exit velocity and 95 outfield velocity.   I also pitch, with a hard breaking change up, and am committed to continuing to grow my pitching skills.

I love baseball more than everything else.  I have played football (and flag football) and baseball and golf since I can remember.  When I entered high school, I decided to focus on baseball.  I love the feel of hitting a ball in the gap and running the bases.  When I am playing baseball, I'm not thinking of anything else or any outside worries.  I love being part of a team - contributing in any way I can, helping my teammates succeed, and working hard and succeeding together.  It's also what I have really connected with at O'Dea High School - The Brotherhood.  Being part of a brotherhood where we support each other, work hard together and have fun is what I hope to find on a college team as well.  Throughout my life, I have found that everything is better when I am playing a sport - homelife is better, school is better, and my relationships are better.  Mostly, I just want to keep playing baseball for as long as I can.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
