Personal Statement
My name is Jaxon Henderson, I am a 2021 infielder and right-handed pitcher from Glacier Peak High School in Snohomish, Washington. Outside of HS baseball, I play for the Kirkland Merchants Baseball Club on the 18U Premier team.
My love for the game started when I was four years old - YMCA, Little League and then club baseball starting at age nine. Regular training outside of practice is key so I devote at least six days a week to work on hitting, pitching, fielding and speed/agility.
I am fortunate to live in a community with a great support system and team with common goals and love for the game. Giving back to the community is important so I volunteer at youth camps as time permits during the Summer months. I see myself as a leader both on and off the field.
I work very hard to maintain a 3.90 GPA and achieved National Honors Society recognition. My long term goal is to study Architecture or Business while playing baseball.
