My name is Aden Dance, I am 5,10 roughly 165-170 pounds. My main position is RHP and left side infield. Secondary is anywhere a coach needs me to play. My goal for college is to first be accepted to one and then pursue a degree of business. I chose business because the topic is something I have great interest in and I feel as if it will be the most useful for me. My hope is that I can make it to college without having to be in debt. A scholarship is something I’m really pursuing, either academically or athletic and I’m working as hard as I can to achieve, which would help both me and my family out. Baseball has since I stepped on the field been a passion for me. I have baseball in mind in anything I do. I’m always doing my best to become a better player and further my skills. When I am on a team, that team is now my family. I treat every teammate whether I like them or not like my brother, because this is a team sport and in order to succeed, one must be able to work with the people around him and that is something I can do with anybody and everybody. Some of the skills that could make me an asset is my speed, my 60 yard dash for the Northwest Baseball Prospect Evaluation was a 7.01 and I ran a 6.89 when tested for highschool. I am an aggressive base runner and will do anything to get on base whether that be a hit, bunt, or walk. I also have a healthy arm that is in amazing shape and is exercised daily to achieve velocity gains. When I cannot be on a baseball field I am in the gym lifting weights to build muscle. In the classroom, I am a active student with a 3.7 gpa and take honors/IB level classes. I understand that academics are just important if not more then athletics. Overall I am here to play ball. And I will capitalize on any opportunity I get. I cannot guarantee success but I can 100% guarentee that I will always work to my fullest and will do everything I can to further myself as a baseball player.
