Nicholas Kita '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nick Kita and I go to Gibraltar High School in Fish Creek, Wisconsin. I am a very good student earning a 3.79 gpa over my 3 years in high school and am working on my senior year with an Advanced Placement Class among my other classes. I am in the top 10 percent in my grade here at Gibraltar which is a nationally acknowledged school. I am part of the National Honors Society, Varsity Letter Club, student council, project 180 (group against underage using) and was a class officer. I like to be involved.

I am interested in coming to your school to play baseball for you and the school. I am a three-time all-conference selection for baseball at three different positions. I played freshman year at second base, sophomore year at shortstop, junior year at catcher, and I will also be catching this year for the team as it is the position I grew up playing. But, I can play anywhere in the infield. The past two years I have led the Packerland Conference in batting average and have missed being player of the year by one vote each of the two years. This past summer I played for Team Wisconsin All-Stars and traveled all over the Midwest playing in exposure showcases. I led the team, which selected players from all over the state, in batting average, home runs, and other categories.
