Hello, my name is Ryan Shavlik. I am currently a senior at Kaukauna High school in Kaukauna, Wisconsin. I play baseball and used to play football and volleyball, but decided this last year that my strengths are in baseball. As a result, i decided to stay with baseball to improve my skills all around. I am now in baseball year round, playing spring baseball for my high school team, Summer baseball starting this year the Panthers club team, fall baseball with my high school program, and also and indoor winter baseball league at Player's Choice. I have been playing baseball since little league so i have a lot of experience and know every position well, as i have been placed in every one besides first base. My key position is second base, although i also pitch very frequently. I am a quick learner, for example, this past summer i also played catcher for half the season, as a result of an injury. I got recognized by a couple coaches for my quickness and throwing ability as i threw out 9 players in approximately 10 games. All throughout my baseball career i have been placed in the top 3 spots in the batting order because of my speed and hitting ability.
Although i want my baseball career to proceed as it is a big part of my life and one of my biggest goals in life, my academics are also very important to me. I currently have a 3.79 GPA halfway through my senior year. I believe I want to study something math related, such as accounting. I am very open to college locations, although it depends on what they have to offer, athletically and academically. I would like to visit as many campuses as possible to help me make my college decision. Thank you for taking the time to view my site and please visit often to get my latest updates.
