My name is Alex Redman and I am a dedicated baseball player. I am currently 6’0’’ and a left-handed pitcher. My most important accomplishment was when I made the Varsity baseball team as a freshman. I walked on to the field with a sense of awe and wonder. I was immediately taken under the wing of the upperclassmen. They taught me how to work hard towards my goals and be a leader to my team. That all paid off when our team won the Woodland Conference Tournament that year. Going into my sophomore year I was excited to pass on my skills and passion for baseball to the new players on our team. Unfortunately, I was not given this chance. Throughout my sophomore year I ended up a victim of bullying. Not only did this happen in school it also carried on to the baseball field. This action lead myself to transfer to Marquette University High School my Junior year. Since the acceptance process was lengthy, I decided to play on a traveling baseball team instead of playing for the high school. I played fall, spring and summer baseball with Stiks Academy in Waukesha Wisconsin. Knowing that I am capable of playing baseball in college makes me more determined to reach my goal. Because of my love for the game I can offer a team my continuous hard work and my positive mindset to never give up. Now that it is time for me to start choosing schools, it is important I find a college with a strong nursing program. I am very open to going to any college that will fit my academic and athletic needs. I am not concerned about size or location at this time. I want to receive a good education and reach my athletic goals of playing baseball at a highly competitive level. I want to make a positive impact on the team and be a role model to those after me.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions,
Sincerely, Alex Redman
