Baseball has been a big part of who I am for quite a while. I have been playing since the age of 6 when my mom signed me up for t-ball. I have played for different leagues including my high school team thus giving me opportunities to learn and grow as a player.
I started playing at the age of 6 in a t-ball recreation team. I then went on to play for a community league at the age of 7 where I met the coach that introduced me to pitching. I played first base before being introduced to pitching. In addition, I played for several travel teams during summer and fall. Furthermore, I participated in baseball winter workouts. Since entering high school, I have continued to grow as a player while focusing on being a student first. I maintained focused on working on my baseball skills such as fielding, pitching and hitting during COVID since our high school team didn’t play many games when I was a sophomore and junior. I also participated in the Baseball Factory event in Ohio this summer. I was invited to participate in a baseball camp in Florida in December through Baseball Factory. I am always striving to be the best player possible by staying focused and putting in the work .
I have many qualities to bring to any team, I am a team player. I am dedicated and have positive attitude. Family is very important to me which I feel that a team is a family. I have always gotten along with my teammates. I believe in working with my teammates to help each become better players for the good of the team. I take coaches constructive feedback to heart and will put their feedback into action. I know I am never finished improving as a player. I am always striving to become a better player.
I am looking for a school that will possibly assist me financially while allowing me to get a college education and fulfilling my goal of playing baseball at the college level.
