Austin Fox '17 Recruiting Profile

As long as I can remember, I have always wanted to succeed in everything I do. Whether its baseball, the weight room or in the classroom, I strive for absolute excellence and I give 100 percent effort 100 percent of the time.  Going to college and playing ball will be no different.  One thing I pride myself about is staying humble and self-motivated. Very rarely does someone have to tell me what to do as in I am naturally a leader for not only myself but for others.  But when I do need direction, I take the criticism of others, including my peers and coached,  very well especially when coaches bring up points of mechanics or other parts of the game and inform me that I need to improve on them.  I would like to hope that one thing that truly separate  me from the rest of my recruiting class is that I find myself very productive and self-determined in achieving my goals and accomplishing the tasks at hand.  In college and throughout the rest of my life I hope to continue being self-directed in order to achieve the goals that I set forth for myself.
