My name is Matthew Simonson, and I currently live in Portage, Wisconsin. When it comes to my college future, I am looking to play at the next level of baseball in college. What makes me an excellent player for your team is my overall dedication when it comes to baseball on the field and off the field. I am the type of person who has the determination, leadership, and willingness to put forth the effort, hard work and grit that is needed to come out on top on whatever that might be-that could be playing baseball or academically. I am someone who strives to succeed to be the best product for my team or school. Over the last year and a half in High School, I have encountered hardships that have taught me how to work hard, push through, be determined, and never give up. These hardships have taught me a new perspective on if you truly want something you need to continue to have the determination, to work hard.

My passion is middle infield and I am a middle infield however, I have the capability of pitching and being a utility player with the exception of playing as a catcher. One thing to know about me is my love for the game since I was a little kid, and have always dreamt of playing in college and building a future for myself.
