Adam (AJ) Buchman '19 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Adam (AJ) Buchman.  First thing I would like for coaches to know about me is my faith in God. He is first in my life, then family, then school, and then my sports.  My goal as a collegiate athlete is to get a good education and to play a sport that I love at the same time. I have always put in 110% into every sport that I play. I am a good listener and I try to always give my coaches what they ask for, and what they expect from me as a player/athlete. I have always been a smaller kid, but that never stopped me from being a leader among my peers or for any team that I play for.  I have always been told I am a natural leader by my parents, teachers and coaches. Coaches have told me that I am a smart player and that I know the game well in whatever sport that I play.  Even though I'm not the biggest kid on my teams, I make up for it in my ability and as a team mate.  I know I have a lot of room to grow physically and as a player.  I will, and do put in 110% into all that I can, to accomplish the goals that I have set for myself as a person, student, and as a player/athlete. I may not stand out academically from other recruits but feel my character makes up for it.  I may not be a straight A student but I do my best, to be the best me, that I can be, and try to be an influence on my peers/team mates to do the same.  I look forward to the recruiting process and can't wait to play at the next level.
