Kody Hage '25 Recruiting Profile

I have been interested in baseball for as long as I can remember, my parents, tell me I used to drag a baseball bat around when I was two years old. I started playing Tball when I was four years old and moved to travel ball when I was eight. I’ve learned many things about myself while playing baseball, like the value of being part of a team, being mentally tough, and time management. By being part of a team I have learned that no one position or player wins or loses a game. I’ve learned that you have to be mentally prepared for tough competition. I’ve had to work hard to master the skill of time management because practice, games, and schoolwork takes up most of my evenings and weekends.

I currently have a 3.7 GPA as a Senior in High School, I am ranked 87th out of 255 students in my class. In addition to baseball, I am working out daily and playing football this fall as well. I am also an active member of the SALT club at our school (Student Athlete Leadership Team), this club engages in volunteer efforts at school, and within the community, and supports other athletes during their seasons. My goal is to graduate as one of the top students in my class and move on to attend a four-year college.
