Jacob Boint '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Jacob Boint and I am a recruit in the class of 2020. From tee ball, to varsity legion baseball, I have had a genuine love and passion for the game of baseball. I believe in playing the game the right way. To me, that means playing the game with heart, grit, determination, unrelenting energy and just playing every moment as if it will be the last time I set foot on the field. Even though I play with these emotions in my heart, my past coaches would describe me as even keeled- one who doesn’t let their emotions get the best of them. One that can keep an even temperament through the highs and the lows.

Throughout my baseball career, I have played every position on the diamond, sometimes playing up to five different positions in one game. I know my versatile skill set allows me to help my team in any way possible and I feel it has enabled me to become an even better teammate, realizing that I may not play my favorite position, but wherever the coach puts me I can benefit my team in that role.
