Hello! My name is Jaylee, I am currently a side base and tumbler for Hagerty's Varsity Medium All Girl team, and cheer for a D2 all-star gym Double Down athletics. I have been cheering since 4th grade, I started off as a flyer, then transitioned to side basing Sophomore Year of High School and I am a main base and back spot for my all-star gym. Some things that make me a good candidate for your team is I am a very coachable athlete, I'm always happy to take and apply corrections, and I always treat all of my coaches with the up most respect and kindness. I am always striving to be the best version of myself in every practice, and performance, and I am always pushing myself to be better than yesterday. What makes me different from other recruits is I am always happy to try new things, new positions, or skills with an open and positive mindset, and I am always wanting to do more, always wanting to train more, work harder, and practice more. I love getting out of my comfort zone and trying new things because I feel that it only makes me a better athlete in the end, and I always keep my head held high with a smile. Since I was young, I have always had a goal of cheering in college and have been working to prepare myself to try out for a college program in the spring. Throughout my years of being coached, i have been taught to live by "HHQ" which stands for Hungry, Humble, Quiet, always staying motivated and putting in the work having nothing handed to me, always staying humble, and always staying quiet speaking through my actions rather than words.
