Hello my name is Riley Hubbs, I started cheer my sophmore year in high school. I made varsity and mat that same year. When it comes to cheer, I'm a very passionate and determined athlete. My sophomore year we placed 3rd at sectionals, to make it to state. My journey to this point that led up to my cheer career started with competitive gymnastics in 1st grade. I took gymnastics very seriously for 8 years. I quit in 8th grade due to a wrist injury. I wasn't able to do sports my freshman year due to my wrist not being strong enough yet. When my wrist strength improved I got into cheer, it became my new passion. For my junior and senior year in high school I plan on pushing myself to my full potential, and improving all of my skills like jumping, tumbling, and stunting techniques. Going into my future years I plan on competing in Acro & Tumbling at the college level. I will bring dedication, leadership, optimism, and loyalty to my future team. I'm looking for a school with a good student and faculty community as well as a place that will expand my horizons. I look forward to building new relationships both on and off the mat.
