Morgan VanDyck '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I'm Morgan VanDyck, a dedicated senior at Johnsburg High School, where I've proudly contributed to the Johnsburg Cheerleading Team as a 2x State Champion and National Champion. As I approach the next chapter of my academic journey, I am eager to extend my cheer career into the college realm.

Throughout my high school cheerleading experience, I've garnered numerous accolades, including All-Conference and All-State recognitions. My commitment to excellence is not only reflected in my achievements but also in my ongoing pursuit of improvement and mastery.

In the realm of tumbling, I've achieved significant milestones, currently executing a standing three to full, standing back tuck, cartwheel tuck (recently accomplishing a cartwheel full on a spring floor, with plans to transition to a dead mat soon), and jumps to tuck. In running tumbling, I confidently perform a whip through to full, with ongoing efforts to perfect my standing full and full through to full.

Stunting is both a passion and a strength, with my role as a secondary base involving intricate maneuvers such as rewinds, inversions, hand-n-hands, H2H full arounds, double ups, back handspring ups, and more. My dedication to perfecting these skills reflects my commitment to teamwork and achieving collective success.

As I transition to college, I am not only seeking a program that values excellence but also one that fosters a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. I am excited about the prospect of contributing my skills, work ethic, and team spirit to a collegiate cheerleading team while continuing to push the boundaries of my capabilities.
