Cheerleading
At the end of Freshmen year my goals and sight was set for my future college journey. It wasn't always about hitting the books and studying, it was also about hitting the mat as a cheerleader. Going into my Freshmen year I had no clue about anything cheerleading, coming from a gymnastics background I decided to give it a try. Soon enough I found that Cheerleading was where my passion truly shines and yet that same year I made the Varsity Cheerleading Team as a Freshmen. My positive attitude and my dedication to the sport are genuine to not only the team but beyond. I am both a base and a tumbler, I'm versatile in the sense that any position thrown at me I can adapt to quickly. On and off the mat I'm continuing to better myself, I am also apart of the Varsity Track and Field team and contribute to the long distance. I am also a Top Iron Falcon at my school due to my constant discipline in lifting and achieving my goals to become the Strongest Cheerleader I can be.
Gymnastics
In gymnastics, the long hours and hard work spent in the gym led to many personal achievements. In 2016 I was in the TOP 10 in the state of Maryland as a level three gymnast. In 2017 I was in the TOP 3 as a level 4 gymnast in the state of Maryland carrying the Highest beam score. In 2017 I was given the opportunity to skip a level considering the state titles and all-arounds I had one in only that year. I was blessed to be one of the two gymnast selected, achieving an all around score of a 36.850 to score out of level 5. In 2018 I was in the TOP 50 for level 6 gymnast and in 2019 I competed as a level 7 gymnast.
Academics
Academics are very important and matter a lot to me. My 4.0 unweighted GPA shows the dedication and discipline I have to learning and studying. I have been placed through honors classes my entire life leading into my freshmen year with advanced placement classes and International Baccalaureate classes. I plan on pursuing a career in the healthcare industry to make a positive mark in the healthcare world.
