Ever since I was little I have ALWAYS wanted to do cheer, but growing up my family did not have the money plus we were always moving around. My freshmen year (2020-2021) I moved to dowagiac with the intention of finally trying out for the cheer team, though i quite literally was quarantined for the first semester bc everyone around me was getting covid, so, unfortunately I couldn’t try out for the sideline team. right before comp season the coach at the time came up to me and asked if I wanted to cheer , I was the happiest alive, though I had no clue what I was doing. Matthew nicholls saw my potential and took a chance on me, he taught me perseverance, confidence and most of all love (as corny as that may sound) he taught me to love cheer with every ounce of love in my body, and to never give up. I think I would make an excellent addition to your team because i push myself , never give up even when things get ruff, and I have unconditional love for this sport. (I’m also really strong and have pretty toe touches lol)
