As a male cheerleader who joined cheerleading later on in my life I think getting into the swing of it was a lot harder than I thought. But in these last 3 years of cheering I’ve worked like I’ve never worked before. I set my mind into the goal of being not just good but great. This helped me shape into a hardworking and determined person that also is huge on team building and motivation for those around me. Those who ask about me to my team will always get the same answer that I’m a team player. One thing about me that I always try to keep at the highest standard is not only my morals but my need to push myself and those around me so we can all achieve excellence TOGETHER. I don’t believe in a one-man succession, I believe that a bigger accomplishment for myself is not only seeing myself succeed but people around me succeed. So I try to not only push myself but my teammates to strive for no less then excellence, and I think that’s what sets me apart from some other athletes!
