Hii! My name is Kimora White, and I'll be graduating from Roy C Ketcham High School in Wappinger Falls, New York, in 2026. I'm excited to continue my cheerleading experience, as I've been doing so since fifth grade. Despite taking a gap year from 8th to 9th grade, I use that time to focus and lay a solid academic foundation. I rejoined cheerleading my sophomore year to cheer for the JV team, but was swiftly promoted to varsity the same year.
As a backspot, I am all about improving myself. My strengths include stunting, jumping, and dancing. My area of opportunity would be tumbling. Recognizing this, I developed an action plan to incorporate tumbling as an additional strength. I attend a gymnastics gym twice a week. In these private classes, I'm learning the essentials for taking my tumbling skills to the next level.
Cheerleading is absolutely my passion, but my academics are equally important. While pushing myself in my sport, I've taken honors, AP, and college classes every year, all while maintaining a high GPA. I look forward to attend a college with an education program as I will be pursuing a degree in education to become a teacher. Reflecting on my high school experience thus far, I have been committed to both academics and cheerleading, but consistency has helped shape me into the student athlete I am today and will become in the future.
