Olivia Silva '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi!! My name is Olivia Silva and I am a varsity and all star cheerleader. I am a 3x All American, UCA and NCA and have competed in the top gun tumble and jump competition. Last year my team won grand champs of the OPEN national championship we took home great proudness, which we had worked so hard through the tough covid times. I plan to be a PA after college and cheer throughout. I would love to work either in a hospital or doctor’s office, where my aunt gave me the inspiration of career path. I have always wanted to be the most successful and most hardworking person I possibly can.  I hold myself to an extremely high standards, which is lot of pressure, but I know in the end it is one of my best qualities and will lead to success. Just like in cheer, I put in countless hours working new skills, perfecting basics, and making sure I have done everything I can to make my coaches proud. Which I have been cheering since I was 9 and I love it! I also love to be apart of a group that helps others- other than cheer, I am the Vice President of SADD club and it is such an awesome experience. I have been invited to 2 events for science- NSLC and a neuroscience event, and I am an NHS member. I hope to join a school with strong academics and athletics. I also am a multi- sport athlete- I have played volleyball and lacrosse and of course cheerleading. I also am a cheer coach for little girls in my town, for community service and I absolutely love it! I also have recently been invited to apply to NCA staff!!
