In college, I hope to make a long-lasting impact on my campus through my time as a student. I would like to join many clubs and make friendships to become better connected with my community as well as participate in volunteer work. I would be an excellent candidate for a college cheer team because I have both athletic and leadership experience. I am currently the captain of the Caney Creek Co-Ed Cheer Team and hold many other leadership positions in honor societies as well as the senior class. What differentiates me from other candidates is that I am both an all-girl and co-ed flyer. I have experience in both categories of game-day stunts that include extensions, libs, heel-stretches, full downs, full ups and other sideline stunts. I also have experience in both categories of elite stunts that include inversions, flipping dismounts, front handspring-up, cartwheel-ups and more. In addition to my athletic abilities, my character is a major aspect that I take pride in. I am known to be a team-player and work for the good of my team rather than myself. I am able to separate my personal life issues from the sport to give my best each and every day. I also have excellent communication skills that is beneficial when another teammate needs someone to confide in or just needs someone to listen to them. An additional fact about my character is that I am very open to receiving feedback in all aspects, including athletics and leadership. Feedback helps me to improve for the good of myself as well as the team to give the best version of myself I can.
