My educational goals include obtaining an undergraduate degree and then pursuing medical school. I’ve always dreamed of being a doctor like my dad. I watched him practice, care for people, and serve our community my whole life. His work and service have inspired me to do the same with the end goal of getting back to my community and taking care of people.
Living in a small town has allowed me to participate in many extracurricular activities such as cheerleading, golf, track and field, tennis, cross country, and FFA. I had the privilege of serving as a team captain for many of these sports as well as an officer in my FFA chapter. I have also had the opportunity to volunteer in local organizations. These experiences have taught me the importance of hard work, communication, and leadership. Additionally, growing up as a competitive gymnast, I have developed a strong work ethic and mental toughness. I am a hard-working, positive, encouraging, kind hearted, coachable, motivated, and a self-sacrificing individual.
I recognize that worthwhile things require hard work and I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. I believe that my qualities make me an excellent candidate as I pursue my collegiate goals as a student athlete.
