My name is Tori Burt. I am a high school Junior in Leonard, TX, and I will be graduating in the class of 2024. I will be pursuing an Engineering Degree with an emphasis on Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. I have focused throughout high school to maintain my Salutatorian status for the Class of 2024 and have my eyes set on Valedictorian. I am equally driven on the cheer squad as I am in the classroom. I have been cheering since I was a small child and will continue to cheer into college. I am a great team leader, motivated and am always willing to help others in the classroom and on the field. I am looking forward to being a five-time All American Cheerleader as well as being the Varsity Captain for 23-24 season. Cheering on the college fields at TCU and OU have been an amazing experience and I look forward to cheering at my own college of choice to cheer on my future team.
Three things about Tori Burt that you should know are as follows. 1. I am the most passionate cheerleader that has always been told, I look like I'm having fun, when cheering. Which I believe cheering should be fun! 2. I was told by my Nephrologist that I would not be able to cheer due to my past kidney disease. I have excelled in cheerleading despite his prognosis. 3. As a 17 year old, I can tell you exactly what my future plans are. I will go to college. I will cheer in college. I will graduate in less than 4 years with my Bachelor's degree. I will then work on my Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering. After my college, I will go to work for the federal government and live at the beach.
As you can tell, I'm very determined, passionate, smart, mature and will be a tremendous asset to any college cheer program that has room for such a talented person!
