I have been passionate about and involved in cheer since I was 6 years old. When I step on the mat or sideline, it is important for me to always show up as my best self regardless of what is happening outside of cheer. In fact, I was nicknamed "Barbie" on my competition team for my excellence in facials, and ability to adapt to any stunt group (with a smile!). Throughout the years I've focused not only on perfecting my stunts and tumbling, but also being a supportive teammate. I have volunteered my time to remain involved with the youth team(s)/cheer programs, and truly thrive on being a positive role model for others.
Not only do I bring my A-game to cheer, but I am committed to maintain a high GPA and balancing classwork along with my home & work responsibilities. I've had days where I've worked until 2pm, then attended my school team's practice from 2:30-5, and then competition practice from 5:30-8pm. I believe with enough perseverance (and organization) anything is possible! My dedication to practice and ability to push through challenges has made me resilient as both an athlete, and an individual. Cheerleading has truly shaped who I am on and off the mat, and I am eager to contribute my skills to a collegiate team, while challenging myself to grow further in this sport.
