My future collegiate goals are to play field hockey for a NCAA Division 1 University team while achieving a quality education. In addition, I aspire to play for the Women's Canadian National Team. I am currently working towards the Field Hockey Canada athlete pathway towards the provincial and Canadian National teams.
I developed a love for field hockey at the age of 8 years old. At 13 years, I played for the U16 Polar Bears Club Team where we won gold in Provincials of 2019. In the same year, I trained with Rob Short Academy where we won bronze at Cal Cup. Currently, I am playing for the Vancouver Hawks 1 Women’s team and last year I played for the Hawks Division 5 Women's team where we won our division title in 2020. I am currently playing for Hawks on the Prem team for womens league.
I am a versatile and dynamic player who plays on the midfield line. I am a highly motivated, hard working athlete who has a desire to succeed, both on and off the field. During the limited interactions of the pandemic, I have demonstrated self-discipline and initiative by working on a personal training program and practicing stick skills independently. My strengths are my speed, hitting, passing, stick skills and being a team player who is very coachable.
