Hello, my name is Kaitlin Baylen and I am currently a 2025 Midfielder, attending Antioch Community High School. I was introduced to the sport of field hockey by a good friend and have loved the sport ever since I picked up the stick. I have only been playing for the past four years, as field hockey is not a very popular sport where I am from. Once, I fell in love with the sport I started attending training programs through Windy City Field Hockey. I enjoy putting in the additional work to learn new skills and become a better overall player. I made my high school Varsity team my freshman year and earned a starting position at midfield. I have worked very hard over the last three years to continue to grow as a player and a teammate. I feel that there is always something new to learn.
Along with playing Field Hockey, I also play a spring Varsity sport. Outside of high school sports, I spend my time playing travel soccer. The past two years I have been assistant coaching a younger soccer team. I have played soccer since the 3rd grade. I am a dual athlete throughout the year, but most importantly I am able to maintain my grades and achieve honor roll status. I look forward to continuing to grow my athletic and academic future over the next few years. I hope to be a student athlete at the collegiate level.
