Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Kaitlin Baylen and I am currently a 2025 Midfielder, attending Antioch Community High School. I was introduced to the sport of field hockey by a good friend and have loved the sport ever since I picked up the stick. I have only been playing since 7th grade,  field hockey is not a very popular sport where I am from. Once, I fell in love with the sport I started attending training programs through Windy City Field Hockey.  I made my high school Varsity team my freshman year and earned a starting position at midfield. I have worked very hard over the last three years to continue to grow as a player and a teammate. I feel that there is always something new to learn.

Along with playing Field Hockey, I also play a spring Varsity sport. Outside of high school sports, I spend my time playing travel soccer. The past two years I have been assistant coaching a younger soccer team. I have played soccer since the 3rd grade. I am a dual athlete throughout the year, but most importantly I am able to maintain my grades and achieve honor roll status.  I look forward to continuing to grow my athletic and academic future over the next few years.  I hope to be a student athlete at the collegiate level.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
