Personal Statement

I have a strong passion for field hockey. I play on several highly competitive teams, including Sea to Sky ( Club Team), Team BC ( White), and the NextGen National Team recruiting program. My ultimate goal is to gain a field hockey scholarship to a school in the United States, to ultimately become a dermatolgist. 

I have excellent grades in high school, receiving awards of excellence in almost all my classes. When I am not playing sports, I volunteer my time on my schools High School Student Council and Model United Nations Club.

I am also a multi-sport athlete (field hockey, ice hockey, volleyball and basketball). I also volunteer at several outdoor based childcare camps to give back to my community.

I think I would be an excellent fit for a college athlete. I  am very comfortable with travel, being away from home and am looking forward to my next step in my field hockey and educational career.
