Personal Statement

I grew up as a soccer player and never would have thought I would be a field hockey player. My sister was the field hockey star in our family and I always was curious about the sport after going to her high school games. I started playing field hockey in middle school and quickly fell in love with not only the sport or environment but the work and dedication I put into field hockey. Getting into high school, and starting at a new school I knew a varsity spot wouldn't be handed to me so I put in work and dedication and I placed a starting varsity spot on the field. I knew once I got into the high school level I wanted more and that's when college was next to look at. I would love to play at a college level and I know I would thrive in that environment. I give 110% effort and I'm always looking to get better. I look for a college that will not only satisfy my athletic abilities but will fill my high academic expectations that I set for myself.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
