Emma Hittle '23 Recruiting Profile

Field hockey is the sport that I am most passionate about.  I started playing field hockey in the first grade through the recreation council.  I have played club field hockey for the past 5 years and am also on my high school team.  I think I have developed stick skills and athletic stamina but also have the desire to lead as a captain and encourage others. This has lead me to volunteer time as a coach to the 3rd and 4th graders learning to play the sport through the recreation council I started playing on.  I think I have a lot to offer and am excited about the prospect of playing field hockey in college.  Through my grit, determination, and enthusiasm I think I have the qualities to succeed in a college program and also the qualities to make me coachable and a good team member.
