Abigail Leahy '17 Recruiting Profile

The most well known characteristic to describe me on and off the field hockey field would be determined. I play every game with heart and passion from the second I step on the field to the second I step off. I work hard to perfect each and every skill, I practice whenever I can whether it's in my backyard or on the turf. Since the moment I fell in love with the game when I was 12 years old, I've completely become obsessed with field hockey and never once second gussed it. I'm 100% a team player and always try my best to help my team succeed, there is nothing I would want more. While i work hard on the field, I work hard with my academics, I study hard to get good grades so I can attend a good college and major in sports science. I'd prefer a smaller school and get a lot of playing time than a larger school and not get to play at all. I just like to be on the field, with my team helping get the win in any way I can. My main goal is to play field hockey at a college level while having a fun experience and excelling  in my studies.
