Cayla Ehrlich '24 Recruiting Profile

I started playing field hockey in 7th grade yet did not put much commitment into it until 8th grade. In the summer before high school, I spent almost everyday with my friends learning how to get better at field hockey. I fell in love with the sport and slowly dedicated myself to it. I am a driven, committed, and competitive athlete that deeply focuses on all aspects of field hockey from IQ to speed. Mainly a midfielder, I excel at moving the ball up the field yet also am able to play defense or forward when needed. I am a team player and truly believe that it takes a connection between teammates to excel in the game. Finally, I am a player that listens and applies all critiques given in order to bring my game to the next level.
