Tessa Lambright '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I am Tessa Lambright and I have been playing field hockey for four years. I have played many other sports, but field hockey is the only one I truly love. I was introduced to field hockey through my high school, Pembroke Hill class of 2024, making varsity each year. Freshman year I joined a club team that is out of state. Unfortunately there are not many field hockey opportunities in Kansas City, but I was able to find a great fit with Gateway Saint Louis. I have played with Gateway for two years and have gone to multiple tournaments with them. Even though I am not with them every week, I have still formed great bonds with my teammates. I am always looking for ways to improve my game and even during Covid, I was able to do private training on zoom with Emily Snowden. I am extremely excited to have found another goalie coach, Victoria Westhead (who played goalie at Saint Louis University). She and I are working together weekly to improve my skills. I am really looking forward to playing at the collegiate level.
