My name is Scarlett Gray, and I’m currently a junior at Dover High School. I am a goalkeeper, playing for Dover High School and Seacoast Field Hockey Club. I have played field hockey since the seventh grade, and lacrosse for 6 years. This is my second year as a starter on Varsity and am a captain this year. Our record last year was 13-2-1 and were runner-ups in the NHIAA Division 1 state championship. Last year I saved 79 goals, 14 allowed. I have a 3.65 GPA and have been on the honor roll each semester. I would like to go to college and study Marine Biology. As an athlete and teammate I work hard and heavily encourage others to do the same. From my standpoint, I see field hockey as a sport that is played by a team and not individually. If my teammates seem down or in their head I will always assure them that things will be okay and give them a motivational push. Outside of field hockey and lacrosse, I enjoy rock climbing and snowboarding. Thank you for your consideration.
