My field hockey and collegiate goals are to compete on a college team. I believe that I would be a good candidate for any team because I am a strong leader and leave everything on the field, whether it is after a game or practice. Whether it is in school, on the field, or off the field, I do everything to the best of my ability and always give 100%. On the field, I not only see the field well, I am also a great passer and scorer. Last year on my varsity team as a sophomore, I tied with a senior for most goals in that season. On the field I am also very vocal and will help my teammates get in a better position, guard a player, and see who is open. On my varsity team, I play both forward and midfield. This is because of my passing, stick skills, shooting/ finishing ability, and the ability to move the ball up the field in a quick manner. I will also always help my teammates on and off the field. During practice, I play my hardest so not only I will improve, but also for my teammates to improve as well. I also help my teammates to improve their own skills like scoring, passing, or stick skills. Field Hockey is a team sport and for a team to be great all the players need to perform on a high level. This is why at every practice or workout I strive to improve my game and my teammate's game, which would make our whole team better. In the classroom I also strive to do the best I can. I take the most challenging courses offered so I can learn at a high level. I take mostly all AP, honors courses and perform well in them. I am also at the top of my class academically. In college, I hope to continue my high level academics and go into the Medical Field. I hope to get everything I can out of college by playing field hockey and getting a degree. I will do this by being a strong player and a great student, which I have been doing all along. Like in high school, I believe I will be a great asset to any college team and help the players improve and also the entire team.
