Kristen Fitzgibbons '20 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was young, I had planned on playing field hockey. Being introduced to the sport at a young age, I was always excited for the day I would become part of the team. In the seventh grade, I joined the brewster field hockey team and truly fell in love with the sport. Having been committed to the program for five years, it has been extremely fulfilling to see my skills as a defender develop as well as the bond I formed with teammates on and off the field. Through becoming a captain as well as winning the mvp award in my sophomore year, I became comfortable in leadership positions and collaborating with others. I have grown into a much more social and confident person due to my involvement in the sport. Being that I am very passionate about field hockey, I would be overjoyed to play at a higher level.
