I began playing field hockey in seventh grade and my passion for the sport quickly grew from the start. For me, field hockey is not only a sport I greatly enjoy but it is a great stress reliever as well. Once I step on the field the only thing that matters is the game. I achieve great things not only on the field but also in school. I take honors classes in school and maintain a high GPA. I am also a two-year starting forward for my school varsity team and during the off-season I play lacrosse on the junior-varsity level. My goal is to participate in a collegiate level field hockey team after I graduate. When I attend college I want to grow both academically and athletically. I enjoy learning new things on and off the field and I hope I have the opportunity to expand my knowledge of the game and in college after high school.
