My goal as a student athlete is to play at a college that makes me feel at home, one that offers great education, especially in the science field. I have always loved the ocean, and my dream is to discover what hasn't been seen before. Marine biology is the path I want to take in life, and a big part of that path is where I study in college. But as an athlete, I want a place that challenges me, that puts me to my limit. As a goalie the mental and physical game has always been hard, and I want to go to a school that builds on that. Many don't think for a goalie to be fast or have good endurance, but for me that's the key. You need to be able to spring back up and not focus on catching your breath in high pressure situations. My mile time, which is around 6:30, is something I pride myself in, even though others may look at it as unnecessary for a goalkeeper.
