Hi! My name is Lisa Clarke and I've been a starter for the Nanuet field hockey team since 7th grade on the modified level, currently have a 3.8 GPA, and am continuing to take AP and honors classes. I primarily play as a center back on my team, but also right or left defender too. I would absolutely love to play field hockey in college and continue to better myself and grow as a field hockey player. Although I have been unable to play travel or club team, I was asked to play at the varsity level my freshman year. However, I was unable to because I was told to focus on my schoolwork by my parents, and started on JV instead. The following year I started on varsity as a sophomore, and also received a scholar athlete award. I am currently a junior who started at Center Back on the Nanuet varsity team this season, and had a successful year. My team beat our school's all-time number of wins for the season, and came in second in the league, which is huge for our growing program! I also received the all-league, all- elite honorable mention, and all-section awards this season, along with the scholar athlete award as well.
I am also part of my school's varsity spring track team, and got 5th in the section in the pentathlon sophomore year, and was able to go to State Quals. I competed in the New York relays at Icahn Stadium freshman year, and the Louck's Games in White Plains sophomore year. Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile!
