Being a part of a prestigious school since kindergarten has shaped me into who I am today. I learned early on that in order to succeed in school, have strong relationships with my teachers, and overcome the academic pressures of a college prep school; I had to be tenacious. I had to have grit and be teachable/coachable. This separates me from other athletes and students at Columbus Academy. Especially, since high school, I have had to fight for the grades I've received and the play time I've been given. I've shown time and time again my willingness and dedication to do what it takes.
I wouldn't be where I am today without the support I receive from my family, coaches, and friends. Their encouragement, guidance, love, and faith in me have shaped me into a confident person. That confidence will help me reach my fullest potential on and off the field.
