Carley Strickland '26 Recruiting Profile

Thank you for reading my statement! My name is Carley Strickland and I am a sophomore in high school. I have been playing field hockey for 8 years now. I currently play for Coatesville Area High School, as well as, Shock Field Hockey Club. I just completed my 2023 Field Hockey season with Coatesville. I finished as our team's leading goal scored with 6 goals and 1 assist. I started varsity every game of the season as a forward. I received the Breakout Player Of the Year Award as the player who contributed most to the team in the 2023 season. 

Aside from field hockey, I've played lacrosse for 9 years. I enjoy playing golf as a hobby, and I plan on playing flag football for our school in the spring. I participate in Leo Club, Student Council, and Ski Club. I have a 4.0 GPA and have achieved distinguished honor roll. I put a lot of time into both my academic and athletic efforts.

I have an enormous love for the game of field hockey. I know much about the game and have great field knowledge that leads me to make the right decisions. I enjoy being a leader on and off the field. Thanks again for taking the time to read and view my profile!
