Celia Long '22 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I started playing in 3rd grade, I’ve always loved how powerful field hockey has made me feel. It’s fast-paced and intense, which makes me feel strong whenever I play. Besides being a competitive individual athlete, I feel like this sport shows the importance of teamwork, which is very valuable to me. Not to mention field hockey has brought and continues to bring me bonds with people that will last a lifetime. I believe optimism is contagious and try to be a positive influence on and off the field. Academically, I am driven to do the best that I can in all my classes and constantly challenge myself by taking honors, dual-enrollment, and AP courses. In my search for a college, I am hoping to be in class and on the field with people who are as focused and driven.
