Emma Koehler '25 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to be an athletic scholar. I would be honored to play field hockey at the collegiate level. I come from a family of talented athletes and I've grown up learning about the commitment and effort it takes to play competitive sports. I have often been told that I'm a leader on the team and that I play with consistency. My coaches have also been pleased with my willingness to play where I'm needed, which speaks to my ability to be open-minded and flexible. I know my role may change depending on the needs of my team and I'm willing to fill the need. I also believe in teamwork and building up my teammates. By doing so, we get better together! Academically, and athletically, I am very focused and goal-oriented. I work hard throughout the year to maintain my level of fitness and put in the time it takes to make sure I can play at competitive levels. What makes me stand out above others and makes me a good candidate is my positive attitude and work ethic. If I don't know how to do something, I'm always ready to learn. But it's hard to teach someone how to have a good, positive attitude and strong work ethic. If these are the characteristics you are searching for, please consider me.
